Product Description
LED street and area light — Optonica 9227
Optonica 9227 is a grey LED luminaire for streets, access roads and car parks. Lumileds LEDs deliver 15 000 lm at 100 W. This version provides 6000 K cool white light with an efficacy of 150 lm/W.
Light direction and application
The 75° × 130° asymmetric light distribution is intended for roads and outdoor areas. An adjustable mounting angle of 0–90° allows the luminaire position to be set; this does not change the optical beam angle. Select pole height, placement and spacing according to the lighting requirements of the specific site.
Housing and service
An aluminium housing, polycarbonate lens and IP65 protection are specified for outdoor use. The operating temperature range is −20 to +40 °C; the manufacturer states a 35,000-hour service life. Colour rendering is CRI ≥80 and energy efficiency class is D. Net weight is approximately 3.09 kg.
Connection and pre-purchase checks
Supply: 180–265 V AC, 50–60 Hz. The luminaire is not dimmable. Check compatibility with the selected pole or bracket. Installation and the earthed electrical connection must be completed by a qualified electrician, following the manufacturer instructions and providing suitable outdoor connection protection.
Confirm dimensions before ordering: the manufacturer specification and EPREL list 404 × 206 × 70 mm, whereas the supplied drawing shows an overall length of 550 mm including the bracket. The source dimensions are not fully consistent and must not be treated as interchangeable mounting measurements.
EPREL specifies 6 SDCM colour consistency and a 0.90 displacement factor (cos φ₁). A suitable IP65 junction box is required for connection and is not included.
Manufacturer warranty: 5 years, subject to its terms. Poles shown in the images are not listed as included components. Application illustrations are not measurements of the exact light colour or the resulting illumination.
The manufacturer states 70% lumen maintenance at the end of service life. Manufacturer-listed mounting hole: Ø60 mm.
