Product Description
STEINEL RS D2 S is a square LED wall and ceiling light with a concealed motion sensor. A brushed stainless-steel surround frames the broad opal-white light surface, giving the fitting a restrained, modern appearance. It suits entrance halls, corridors and stairwells where automatic illumination makes everyday movement easier.
Warm white light with an ambient glow. The integrated LED provides 3000 K illumination, while the opal plastic cover diffuses the light. The glow around the fitting adds depth to the wall or ceiling. A 300 × 300 mm face and 66 mm depth make it suitable for locations with lower ceilings.
Automatic light from a hidden HF sensor. The high-frequency sensor sits behind the cover, leaving the front free of a protruding sensor lens. 360° detection and an adjustable field of approximately Ø3–8 m when ceiling-mounted help match operation to the room. HF technology can also detect movement through glass, wood and lightweight partitions; adjust the detection range to suit the room layout.
Settings for everyday use. Controls on the light set the lighting duration from 5 seconds to 15 minutes and the twilight threshold from 2 to 2000 lx. Selectable 10% night lighting provides orientation after dark. A mains switch can activate the four-hour manual override, after which the light returns to sensor operation.
For dry indoor areas. Surface-mount the IP20 fitting on a wall or ceiling and connect it to a 220–240 V mains supply. An external mains dimmer is not supported. The light has an integrated LED light source and includes mounting accessories. This is the stainless-steel RS D2 S version, article 052539.
