Product Description
Light along the garden path. STEINEL GL 60 S is an outdoor bollard with a stainless-steel body and opal-glass shade. Light spreads around the fitting to mark a walking route, front garden or terrace edge. Its simple cylindrical form sits comfortably beside planting and paved surfaces.
Automatic light for everyday movement. The passive infrared sensor covers a 360° area and detects movement up to 12 m away. Adjust the twilight threshold and lighting duration to suit the location; sensor shrouds help exclude unwanted detection areas. Movement across the sensor's field is detected more readily than an approach directly towards the light.
A gentle transition to full brightness. Built-in control provides soft light start and adjustable basic lighting. This helps maintain orientation light between movement events. A suitably connected mains switch can activate four hours of continuous illumination.
A replaceable E27 light source. The lamp can be replaced while retaining the bollard. Light output, power consumption and colour temperature depend on the fitted lamp. For replacement, choose the original STEINEL E27 light source intended for the actual luminaire version. Compatibility with the built-in control and the correct lamp length support basic lighting and even illumination of the glass shade.
Outdoor installation. Secure the IP44 fitting to a firm foundation beside a pathway, driveway or terrace. Overall height is approximately 1038 mm and the base diameter is 220 mm. Prepare the electrical supply before mounting and adjust detection to the surrounding area.
