Product Description

Steinel MD IR N270 uDIM is a professional outdoor PIR motion sensor for wall surface-mount applications. The wide 270° detection angle with typical tangential reach r ≈ 12.5 m reliably covers entrances, façades and building corners (a corner bracket is included). Commissioning and networking are done via Bluetooth® Mesh in the STEINEL Connect app — create groups, copy settings and fine-tune time/twilight parameters with your phone. Eagle Eye improves head-on detection, Sneak-by guard prevents “walk-by” gaps and the sensor supports segment masking for precise zoning.

Dimming (uDIM) — important

uDIM is built into the sensor (phase-cut dimming; works with both leading and trailing edge drivers).
Make sure the luminaire/LED driver is dimmable — otherwise dimming will not work.
Features include soft light start and configurable basic light level/time from the app.
