Product Description
STEINEL IS 2360 DE ECO is a recessed ceiling motion detector for spaces where a small, restrained visible fitting is preferred. Its white surround and projecting sensor lens suit suspended ceilings, corridors and roof soffits. IP54 protection supports lighting control indoors and outdoors.
All-round awareness
360° PIR detection responds to people moving around the sensor. For movement across the detection field, coverage reaches 8 m in diameter; movement directly towards the sensor has a shorter detection distance. Included shrouds let you retain the required section and exclude a nearby source of movement. The detector also covers the area directly beneath its lens.
Operation matched to daylight
The twilight control determines the ambient brightness below which motion switches the lights on. The time control sets how long they remain on after the last movement. This makes the detector adaptable to a brief passage through a corridor or longer activity in a utility area.
Recessed fitting and wiring choices
Spring clips secure the detector in a 68 mm ceiling opening. Allow space above the ceiling for the housing and wiring before installation. The sensor switches separately connected lighting and supports wired parallel connection. An external switch can select automatic operation or continuous lighting when connected according to the manual's circuit diagram.
PIR detection needs an unobstructed view. A position where people cross the field usually provides an earlier response than movement straight towards the sensor. The white surround keeps the ceiling appearance understated.
