Product Description
Lucide BUDDY is a compact wall reading lamp with a square metal mounting body, a flexible chrome neck and a small conical head. The head and wall body have a matt black powder-coated finish. Its light, restrained shape suits a modern bedroom; mounted beside a bed, it frees space on the bedside table and lets you aim the light at a book.
The flexible reading neck can be positioned to suit a seated or reclining posture. This is not a telescopic height-adjustment mechanism. An on/off switch on the lamp body keeps operation within reach beside the bed. The lamp is not dimmable and has no motion or twilight sensor.
One integrated LED light source is included. It is rated at 4 W, with a manufacturer-declared source output of 280 lm for this exact variant. The fixed 4000 K colour temperature provides neutral white light for local reading illumination. A 60° beam angle helps concentrate light in the chosen area. Reading comfort also depends on the distance to the book and the room’s other lighting.
The manufacturer declares an LED lifetime of 20 000 h and light source energy efficiency class F. CRI 80 describes colour rendering for everyday use, helping you assess how objects and finishes will appear under the light.
The manufacturer lists an overall dimensional envelope of 8 × 54 × 62 cm and a positional height range of 12–62 cm as the flexible neck is shaped. The wall mounting body measures 8 × 8 × 2.5 cm, and the head opening is Ø4.5 cm. Net weight is 0.35 kg. Allow clearance for the bent neck and convenient access to the switch when choosing a mounting position.
