Product Description
Lucide SNAXX is a compact round recessed ceiling spotlight from the Premium collection. Its aluminium body has a champagne matt electroplated finish. A small circular rim remains visible at the ceiling while the main body sits inside the construction. The fixed downward beam suits a hallway, kitchen, dressing area or a selected interior feature; multiple fittings can follow the room’s functional zones.
The included 1 integrated LED source is rated at 12 W with a luminous flux of 900 lm. The instructions give the dimmable source an output range of 90–900 lm. Its 36° beam creates a concentrated accent, while CRI 90 describes high colour rendering and helps furniture, textiles and objects appear more natural. The spotlight head is fixed, so its mounting position determines the lighting direction.
CCT selection by a DIP switch in the mounting section allows a setting of 2700 K, 3300 K or 4000 K. The warmest tone suits a relaxed living area, the middle setting is less warm, and neutral white can suit functional lighting. Select the colour temperature at the fitting during installation; this is not remote control or stepwise colour changing with a wall switch.
Brightness can be adjusted using a compatible external dimmer, not included. Dimming changes the amount of light, while the DIP switch selects its colour temperature; these are separate functions. An external switch or dimmer provides everyday switching. There is no motion sensor or height adjustment.
The outside body diameter is Ø8 cm and overall height 6 cm. Installation requires a circular Ø7.5 cm cut-out; the manufacturer’s stated recessed depth for this variant is 5.8 cm. The visible rim section is listed as 8 × 8 × 0.5 cm. Net weight is 0.4 kg. Check the available ceiling cavity before installation, including space for the connection and LED power-supply section.
The exact model’s installation drawing specifies a ceiling-board thickness of 5–25 mm and shows alternative retaining arrangements. A separate LED driver is shown in the connection assembly; plan its position and wiring above the ceiling plane. Select the retaining method for the actual ceiling construction.
The fitting is designed for a fixed connection to 220–240 V AC at 50 Hz; nominal voltage is 230 V. There is no mains cable with a plug. Electrical protection Class II means double insulation; protective earth is not connected to the fitting. A qualified installer should carry out mounting and wiring with the power disconnected.
IP20 is intended for dry indoor use; this fitting is not protected against splashing water. The integrated LED and manufacturer’s installation materials are included. No separate screw-in bulb is needed.
The manufacturer lists an LED lifetime of 25 000 h and 12 500 switching cycles. These are nominal light-source durability ratings rather than the warranty period. Source energy efficiency is class G on the A–G scale.
