Product Description
Lucide AVEN is a compact, almost cubic ceiling spotlight made from white aluminium with a matt powder-coated finish. Its clean edges suit a contemporary bathroom, while a protective glass plate covers the light source. Light is directed downwards from a fixed head, so the position on the ceiling determines where the light falls.
Overall dimensions are 9.3 × 9.3 × 9.6 cm. The height is not adjustable. The aluminium ceiling mounting plate measures 9.3 × 9.3 × 0.5 cm. Net fixture weight is 0.4 kg. These dimensions and weight help establish the installation space and suitable support.
The fitting accepts 1 × GU10 (MR16) bulb rated at a maximum of 50 W. The bulb is not included; LED bulbs with the appropriate base can be used. The wattage is the permitted limit for each bulb, not the fitting’s constant consumption or brightness. Actual consumption and light output in lumens (lm) depend on the chosen bulbs. Their colour temperature in kelvins (K) determines the light’s appearance: lower values mean a warmer white. Meanwhile, CRI helps assess how naturally object colours appear. Beam angle, energy efficiency and lifetime also depend on the selected source.
Day-to-day operation uses an external wall switch. Brightness can be adjusted with dimmable bulbs and a compatible external dimmer; the dimmer is purchased separately. Dimming relies on a compatible combination of bulbs and control, rather than any bulb fitted in the socket. The fitting has no sensor. With a suitable dim-to-warm bulb, dimming can also make the light warmer; this function depends on the selected bulb and dimmer.
The fitting connects to a 230 V mains supply; the specified supply range is 220–240 V, 50 Hz. There is no attached power cable. IP65 means protection against dust ingress and water jets; Lucide designates this model for bathroom use. Electrical protection class I uses a protection arrangement incorporating protective earthing. The package contains one fitting and installation materials; the warranty is 2 years.
