Product Description
Lucide TAYLOR is a surface-mounted bathroom ceiling light with four cylindrical heads on a square base. The body and mounting plate are aluminium with a matt, powder-coated white finish. Its clear geometric forms suit a contemporary interior. Several adjustable heads let one fitting illuminate different parts of the room, such as a storage area and the open floor space.
The heads are individually rotatable and tiltable, with manufacturer-stated 360° rotation. This allows the light to be aimed without changing the ceiling mounting position. The 40° beam angle of each included bulb creates a relatively concentrated beam. Mechanical rotation and bulb beam angle describe different properties: one concerns aiming, while the other describes the spread of light from the source.
4 replaceable LED bulbs are included, with GU10 (MR16) sockets. Each bulb is rated at 5 W, with a manufacturer-stated luminous flux of 320 lm. The bulb powers sum to 20 W, and the declared source fluxes sum to 1280 lm; this is not a separately measured whole-luminaire output. The resulting illumination also depends on ceiling height, head direction and room-surface colours.
The included bulbs provide Dim to warm: reducing brightness with a suitable dimmer makes the light warmer over a range of 3000–2200 K. The warm-white tone at higher brightness suits everyday activities, while the warmer tone at lower brightness creates a more relaxed atmosphere. Colour change is linked to dimming; there is no separate independent CCT selection or neutral-white setting.
CRI 95 indicates high colour rendering, helping skin, textiles and interior finishes retain a more accurate appearance. For each included source, the manufacturer declares an expected life of 25,000 h and energy-efficiency class G. Service life describes expected source operation, not the warranty period.
A wall switch provides ordinary on/off control. Brightness adjustment and Dim to warm require an external dimmer compatible with the supplied LED bulbs, which is not included. The dimmer must also support the relatively low total LED load. There is no motion or dusk sensor.
The bulbs can be replaced by unscrewing the front head rings and releasing the GU10 connection as illustrated in the instructions. The manufacturer's recommended replacement source is 49009/05/31. To retain the described colour change after replacement, use a suitable Dim to warm bulb; an ordinary bulb with the same socket does not automatically provide this function.
Overall dimensions with the heads pointing straight down are 24 × 24 × 12.3 cm. The ceiling plate measures 24 × 24 × 2.5 cm. The detailed drawing gives each cylindrical head dimensions of Ø 5.7 × 9.8 cm. Net weight is 2.28 kg. Height is fixed; allow room for tilting the heads and accessing the bulbs for replacement.
The fitting is intended for a fixed connection to a 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply; it has no loose lead with a mains plug. Installation materials are included, but fixings must suit the ceiling material and fitting weight. The manufacturer specifies electrical protection class II, indicating double or reinforced insulation; follow the markings and instructions for the actual product when making the connection.
IP44 provides protection against small solid objects and splashing water. In a bathroom, choose the mounting position according to the instruction diagram and installation requirements; this rating does not provide protection against immersion or a strong direct water jet. The fixture has a 2-year warranty.
