Product Description
Lucide LAVALE is a slender desk lamp with an angled metal stem, a small elongated head and a flat square base. The body and base have an ocher yellow finish with a rubber coating. The restrained lines suit a modern interior, and the compact base can stand on a desk, console or bedside table. It provides supplementary local lighting; suitability for reading also depends on distance to the work surface and the other lighting in the room.
The head is rotatable and tiltable, with manufacturer-stated 360° horizontal rotation. This helps aim light at a book or small work area and reduce unwanted shadows. There is no telescopic height adjustment. A touch dimmer at the end of the head provides on/off and brightness control directly on the lamp; no separate wall dimmer is needed. There is no motion or dusk sensor.
The integrated LED source is included. Its rated power is 3 W, with a manufacturer-stated source luminous flux of 130 lm. Warm-white 2700 K light suits a relaxed evening setting. Colour temperature is fixed: reducing brightness does not provide a separate choice of colour temperature. The 120° beam angle describes the spread from the source, while head adjustment controls where it points.
CRI 80 describes colour rendering for everyday use. The manufacturer declares an LED life of 30,000 h, 15,000 switching cycles and light-source energy-efficiency class G. Declared service life is not the warranty period. The integrated design has no ordinary socket for a replaceable bulb.
The drawing gives overall dimensions of 27.2 × 13 × 42.3 cm; the head measures 14.2 × 3 × 2 cm. The square metal base is 13 × 13 × 0.5 cm, and net weight is 0.96 kg. Allow space for head adjustment and for the angled stem’s projection beyond the base.
The lamp connects to a 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply through its intended included power supply; it is not a battery lamp. The lead with plug is 160 cm long, helping plan its position relative to a socket. Attach the stem to the base according to the assembly instructions before use.
The lamp is intended for dry indoor use. IP20 protects against access to hazardous parts and larger solid objects, but provides no water protection. Electrical protection class III applies to the lamp’s safety extra-low-voltage circuit downstream of the adapter. The fixture has a 3-year warranty.
