Product Description
Lucide HUPS IR is a shallow round outdoor wall light with a matt white synthetic body and an opal diffuser. Its broad pale surface spreads the light, with a motion sensor integrated into the lower section. It suits entrances, side doors or garage approaches where light is needed when someone arrives.
An integrated LED source provides 10 W of rated power and 950 lm of luminous flux. The 3000 K colour temperature produces warm white light. CRI 80 describes colour rendering, helping you judge how naturally façade materials, plants and furniture will appear.
The source beam angle of 120° describes light distribution; the position of the luminaire and its distance from a surface will therefore affect the size of the illuminated area.
A PIR motion sensor with an adjustable twilight threshold activates the light when movement is detected under the selected ambient-light conditions. The listed detection range is 0.1–9 m with a 140° angle; the diagram shows a maximum of 9 m at a mounting height of 1.8–2.5 m. Actual detection depends on placement and the direction of movement.
The sensor has TIME and LUX controls for operating time and ambient-light threshold. The manufacturer’s data table lists a timer range of 1–5 s. LED brightness and colour temperature are not adjustable; sensor settings determine activation rather than dimming. An external wall switch can isolate the supply.
The body measures Ø21 cm with a wall projection of 4.9 cm; overall dimensions are 21 × 4.9 × 21 cm. The round white synthetic backplate matches the body footprint. Fixed height is 21 cm and net weight 0.4 kg. Position the sensor with a clear view of the approach area.
Connect the luminaire to a fixed 230 V supply; the manual specifies 220–240 V, 50 Hz. Electrical Class II indicates double or reinforced insulation, so the luminaire itself does not require protective earthing. No power cable with a plug is fitted.
IP54 provides protection against harmful dust ingress and splashing water. The light is suitable for outdoor use when its seals and connections remain protected; it is not intended for immersion.
The expected LED life is 25 000 h, with a switching endurance of 12 500 switching cycles. The source has energy efficiency class F. These service-life ratings are separate from the luminaire’s 3-year warranty. The LED source and installation materials are included, together with the LED driver.
