Product Description
The Lucide APPLAUSE Premium pendant is an open aluminium ring with a slender suspension and a distinctive angled support. This version is coffee brown, with a matt powder-coated finish. A continuous light strip outlines the circular form while leaving the centre open. It suits a dining table, kitchen island or conversation area where the shape becomes a decorative focal point and diffused light adds atmosphere.
The 1 integrated dimmable LED source is rated at 32 W and delivers up to 1060 lm; the manufacturer gives an adjustable flux range of 106–1060 lm. Its stated 360 ° emission angle describes light spreading around the ring, rather than a swivelling spotlight. CRI 90 provides high colour rendering, helping reveal the colours of furniture, fabrics and objects more faithfully. It offers 2700 / 3300 / 4000 K settings. 2700 K provides warm white light for relaxation, 3300 K is an intermediate setting, and 4000 K gives neutral white light for a clearer visual impression. Colour temperature selection and brightness adjustment are separate functions.
A contactless hand-wave sensor switches the light on and off, dims it and changes colour temperature without touching the body. Position your hand 2–5 cm from the sensor: 1 hand wave switches on or off, 2 hand waves select the colour temperature, and holding your hand at the sensor for more than 3 seconds adjusts brightness. The manufacturer specifies that the luminaire must not be connected to a wall switch; everyday operation uses only its own controls. Installation therefore requires a permanent power supply and convenient access to the sensor.
The ring measures Ø60 cm and is 2.85 cm thick. Its pulley suspension mechanism adjusts the overall height within 70–173 cm, with a maximum overall height of 173 cm. The black suspension cable has a maximum length of 120 cm. The ring and rigid stem assembly is 35 cm high, while the angled ring-support section is shown as 17.1 cm high. The cylindrical aluminium ceiling housing measures Ø10 × 18 cm. Net weight is 1.89 kg. Choose the hanging height around the table, seated sightlines and the hand movement needed at the sensor.
The luminaire is designed for dry indoor spaces: IP20 provides no protection against water. The supply is 230 V, with a specified mains range of 220–240 V, 50 Hz. Electrical class I means a protective-earth connection is required. Installation materials are included. The luminaire connects to the fixed electrical supply through its LED power electronics. The set contains 1 luminaire. The integrated LEDs are included, so no separate bulb is needed.
