Product Description
Lucide DUPLA is a particularly slim wall spotlight with a cylindrical aluminium body. Light travels upwards and downwards, highlighting the wall on both sides of the fitting. It suits a hallway, living room or decorative bedside accent. Its narrow profile keeps the wall visually uncluttered, but the mounting position needs care: the slim body may not cover a larger existing electrical opening. The body is made of aluminium. This version is iron grey. The surface has a brushed finish. The finish is electroplated.
The fitting provides 2 sockets for GU10 (MR11) bulbs. Bulbs are not included. The maximum source rating is 2 × 4 W. Actual consumption depends on the installed bulbs; the maximum socket rating is not a fixed consumption of the fitting. The manufacturer’s recommended bulb model is 49094/04/30, sold separately. The compact MR11 format with a GU10 base is required; check that the bulb fits inside the narrow cylinder. Lumen output, CRI, beam angle and colour temperature in kelvins depend on the bulb selected; these are not fixed values for the fitting without bulbs.
Select bulb colour temperature to suit the setting: warmer white suits relaxation, while a more neutral white supports everyday tasks. Dimming requires dimmable bulbs and a compatible external dimmer. The dimmer is not included. A standard wall switch provides on/off control. The body is fixed and its height is not adjustable. Light is directed upwards and downwards, so plan the position around the wall and surrounding surfaces to be illuminated.
Overall dimensions are 6.2 × 4 × 18 cm. The net weight is 0.3 kg. These dimensions and weight describe the fitting itself. They help assess wall projection, available space and the suitability of the fixing for the wall construction.
The mounting plate has a stated 4 × 3 cm cross-section. Confirm its exact height before relying on it to cover an existing connection opening. The plate material is aluminium. The shade measures 4 × 4 × 18 cm. The cylindrical body has a diameter of 4 cm. Before installation, compare the plate with the electrical outlet and existing holes; the body’s outside dimensions alone do not confirm coverage of the connection point.
Lifetime, switching-cycle rating and energy efficiency class depend on the selected bulbs. Replaceable sources let you change the lighting colour and intensity later while retaining the fitting.
The fitting is designed for fixed connection to a 220–240 V ~ 50 Hz mains supply; its nominal voltage is 230 V. IP20 denotes dry indoor use without protection against water. Electrical protection class I requires protective earthing. No power cable is attached. Make the connection at the mounting position according to the manufacturer’s diagram. There is no automatic motion sensor; use the room switch or a compatible dimmer to control the light.
