Product Description
Lucide IPSOS is a compact wall light with a conical support and a rounded spherical head. The aluminium body has a glossy chrome finish with a manufacturer-listed powder coating; the wall mounting section is aluminium too. Its fixed head directs light downwards, making it suitable for a local accent in a bathroom, beside a mirror area or on another wall. The sculptural form complements a restrained interior while occupying little wall space.
The fitting includes 1 integrated LED source rated at 6 W with a luminous flux of 420 lm. The fixed 2700 K warm-white tone creates a calm atmosphere. CRI 80 describes colour rendering suitable for everyday use, while the source’s 38° beam concentrates light in the nearby area below the head. It provides directional supplementary lighting; other fittings can provide even room lighting where required.
The fitting is not dimmable. It is switched on and off by an external wall switch, which is not included. This version has no motion sensor or adjustable light colour. The head direction and body dimensions are fixed, so the mounting position determines where the light falls.
The technical drawing gives a projection from the wall of 15 cm, a head diameter of Ø6 cm and a wall-mount diameter of Ø5.5 cm. The conical mounting section is listed as 5.5 × 5.5 × 9 cm. Net weight is 0.4 kg. Allow for the projection beside a mirror, cabinet or door leaf; this measurement is not the fitting’s vertical height on the wall.
IP54 provides protection against harmful dust ingress and splashing water. The model is intended for bathrooms, and the manufacturer also allows outdoor use. Choose the bathroom position according to the protection zones in the instructions and protect the electrical connection outdoors. Do not immerse the fitting or expose it to direct water jets.
The fitting is designed for a fixed connection to 220–240 V AC at 50 Hz; nominal voltage is 230 V. There is no mains cable with a plug. Electrical protection Class I requires a protective earth connection. A qualified installer should carry out mounting and wiring with the power disconnected.
The manufacturer lists an LED lifetime of 50 000 h and 40 000 switching cycles. These are nominal light-source durability ratings rather than the warranty period. Source energy efficiency is class G on the A–G scale.
The integrated LED, driver and manufacturer’s installation materials are included. No separate screw-in bulb is required. The store’s stated warranty period is 3 years.
