Product Description
Lucide MATIZ is a white metal wall light with a matt powder-coated finish, opal light element and separate cylindrical reading spotlight. The light-coloured round composition keeps a bedside area visually uncluttered. Background light and illumination directed towards a book can be used separately, while the spotlight head rotates and tilts to suit the seating position.
The fitting includes 2 integrated LED sources. The reading spotlight uses 3.5 W and produces 200 lm with a 40° beam angle and CRI 80. Its narrower beam helps illuminate a book. The opal ambient source is rated at 3.5 W, 244 lm, 360° light distribution and CRI 83, providing broader diffuse light. Lumen figures refer to the individual sources, not measured complete-fixture output; watts describe each source’s electrical power.
The colour temperature is 3000 K — warm white. Kelvins describe the white-light tone rather than brightness. Colour temperature is fixed, so the light retains a consistent appearance.
The two sources’ CRI values describe object colour rendering compared with reference light. Their different beam angles provide more focused light for reading while the ambient source spreads illumination around the fitting.
The manufacturer’s rated lifespan for both LED sources is up to 50,000 h. This describes accumulated operating hours, not the warranty period. The reading source is also rated for 30,000 on/off cycles, a separate switching-endurance measure that should not be confused with operating hours. Both sources’ energy efficiency class G on the A–G scale helps compare efficiency; class A is the most efficient on this scale. The energy label is separate from electrical protection class.
Reading and ambient light can be switched on and off independently using controls on the fitting. Both sources are non-dimmable. The reading spotlight rotates and tilts; the manufacturer specifies 360° rotation for the construction. USB-C and USB-B charging ports on the fitting charge external devices, making it useful beside a bedside table. There is no motion sensor.
Overall dimensions are 16.5 × 16.5 × 9.4 cm (length × width × height), and net weight is 0.9 kg. The structural height is fixed; allow clearance for the complete fitting when choosing a location.
Wall mounting plate dimensions are 15 × 15 × 1.5 cm; the plate is metal. Plate diameter is 15 cm. Reading spotlight head dimensions are 2.5 × 2.5 × 11 cm; material is metal. The separate opal ambient-light shade is made from frosted acrylic, measuring 7 × 7 × 7 cm with a 7 cm diameter. Its frosted surface helps diffuse the light. The fitting is intended for fixed installation and has no attached power cable with plug.
