Product Description
Lucide NICOLA is an Essential collection ceiling light in taupe with a broad, low-profile arrangement. The matt-painted metal body and metal canopy form a restrained structure, while rounded aluminium light elements with opal inner surfaces add visual lightness. It suits a kitchen, living room or another larger space where a low-hanging pendant would be inconvenient.
One integrated 37 W LED source delivers 1600 lm. Its specified beam angle is 120°, with CRI 80 for this taupe variant. Opal light surfaces help diffuse illumination, and the integrated source removes the need to select separate bulbs. The horizontal arrangement distributes the light elements across a broader ceiling area. Watts describe power consumption, while lumens describe emitted light output, so compare lumens when assessing brightness. CRI describes how naturally object colours appear under the light.
Select 2700 K, 3300 K or 4000 K using the DIP switch inside the mounting plate. A warmer or more neutral tone can be chosen to suit the room. NICOLA is non-dimmable; CCT selection changes colour temperature, not brightness. Everyday on/off control uses a standard wall switch, purchased separately. No motion sensor is fitted.
Horizontally adjustable elements adapt the arrangement to the furniture and room layout. Overall dimensions are 40 × 132 × 10.8 cm, with fixed height. The rectangular taupe metal canopy measures 10 × 25 × 4 cm. The manual gives 39 × 39 × 1.5 cm for an individual rounded light element, with a taupe exterior and opal interior. Net weight is 0.85 kg.
NICOLA uses a 220–240 V, 50 Hz supply and is rated electrical protection class II, with IP20 protection for dry indoor spaces. No separate supply lead with plug is attached; a prepared electrical connection is required at the mounting position. The package contains one fitting with the LED source and installation materials. Class II means double or reinforced electrical insulation.
The LED source has energy efficiency class G, a specified service life of 20,000 hours and 20,000 switching cycles. The fitting has a 3-year warranty. The A–G scale compares light-source energy efficiency. Hours describe expected operating duration; cycles describe the number of on/off operations.
