Product Description
Lucide PHILON is a matt-black desk lamp made from painted aluminium. Its slim round base and straight stem form a restrained graphic silhouette, complemented by a small cylindrical light head. It can be used on a desk, bedside table or another small surface.
The head can be turned through the manufacturer's specified 330° mechanical adjustment range to aim light towards the chosen area. The 60° source beam angle describes light spread from the head and is different from the mechanical rotation angle. The stand height is fixed, so adjust the illuminated area through head positioning and the location of the lamp itself.
The lamp contains 1 integrated LED source rated at 4.5 W, with a manufacturer-stated maximum source luminous flux of 700 lm. The manual gives a dimmed source-flux range of 70–700 lm. Watts indicate electrical power, while lumens help assess the amount of light for the chosen task. Practical illumination also depends on the distance to the book or work surface.
3000 K produces warm white light, while CRI 80 describes colour rendering for everyday use. The LED source is included, so no separate bulbs need to be selected. The touch dimmer at the top of the stem provides on/off switching and brightness adjustment. Changing brightness does not change the light colour: the colour temperature is fixed. No external wall dimmer is required.
The manufacturer gives the source an expected service life of 30,000 h and energy-efficiency class G. Service life describes expected LED operation, not the warranty period. The lamp uses an included adapter/driver intended for a 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply. It is a corded model without a battery.
Overall dimensions are 13 × 13 × 42 cm, and the round aluminium base measures Ø 13 × 0.5 cm. The head measures Ø 3 × 6 cm. The PVC cable is 158 cm long, and net weight is 0.9 kg. Attach the base to the stem as instructed and position the lamp on a level, stable surface, allowing clearance for head rotation.
The light is intended for dry indoor use. IP20 provides protection against access to hazardous parts and larger solid objects, but no protection against water. Electrical protection class II means double or reinforced insulation. There is no motion or dusk sensor; touch control requires deliberate user input. The fixture has a 3-year warranty.
