Product Description
Lucide Premium STRAXX is a compact ceiling fitting with an Ø8 cm cylindrical aluminium body. Its matt Satin Gun Metal finish provides a dark metallic accent that coordinates with other interior details in the same tone. Surface mounting allows a single lighting point or a repeated arrangement of matching fittings along a hallway or living area.

Light and control
The fitting has one integrated 15 W LED source with a manufacturer-stated luminous flux of 980 lm. Its 36° beam angle creates a more concentrated patch of light beneath the fitting. Lumens help compare the amount of light, while the size of the illuminated area varies with the distance to the floor or work surface.
The fitting’s CRI 90 colour rendering is useful where wood, fabrics, food and decorative objects should appear more natural. Light is directed downwards, and the body cannot be turned. Mounting positions should therefore follow the areas to be illuminated, rather than relying on redirecting the beam sideways afterwards.
A DIP switch in the mounting base selects one of three light colours: 2700 K, 3300 K or 4000 K. The 2700 K setting provides warmer light for relaxation, 3300 K offers an intermediate tone, and 4000 K gives a more neutral white. This is a fixed colour selection made on the fitting, rather than an automatic colour-temperature change when dimming.
Brightness adjustment requires a compatible external LED dimmer, purchased separately. CCT selection and dimming are separate settings: the selected colour is retained as intensity changes. There is no automatic motion sensor. This allows the light colour to be coordinated with other fittings in the room while choosing the required brightness.
Installation and safety
Overall dimensions are 8 × 8 × 9 cm, and net weight is 0.33 kg. The fitting is attached to the ceiling surface in accordance with the instructions. It is intended for a 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply, and electrical class I requires a protective earth connection. IP20 means use in dry indoor rooms without water exposure.
The integrated LED source and installation accessories are included; a separate bulb is not required. The manufacturer states an expected LED lifetime of 25,000 hours and 12,500 switching cycles. The source’s energy efficiency class is G on the A–G scale, and the fitting has a stated 5-year manufacturer warranty.
Applications
STRAXX suits hallways, living areas or concentrated lighting above a chosen surface. Several matching fittings can be arranged in a regular pattern after planning each lighting point.
Tip
Choose the CCT setting and check dimmer compatibility before final installation. The beam points downwards and the body cannot be turned, so the ceiling point should be above the intended area.
