Product Description
Lucide TONI is a compact rechargeable wall spotlight with a cylindrical aluminium head in a black finish and a round black base. The matt powder coating and simple forms suit a contemporary bedroom, living space or hallway. Its integrated motion sensor also makes it useful in circulation areas where light should switch on automatically. Battery operation allows a position without a permanent electrical outlet directly behind the lamp.
The magnetic mounting system lets the lamp be removed from its wall base for charging and reattached afterwards. A metal mounting plate is provided for the wall. The rotatable and tiltable head has manufacturer-stated 360° mechanical rotation for changing the light direction. This angle describes positioning; the illuminated area changes with the head position and its distance from the surface. The instructions also allow direct attachment to a suitable metal surface that securely holds the magnet.
The fitting contains 1 integrated LED source rated at 2 W, with a manufacturer-stated maximum source luminous flux of 120 lm. The manual gives a dimmed flux range of 12–120 lm. This output suits local supplementary illumination; the need for general room lighting depends on the other lighting and the task. The LED is included, so no separate bulb needs to be selected.
Stepped touch CCT control selects 2700 K, 3300 K or 4000 K. The lowest warm-white setting suits a relaxed evening atmosphere, the middle setting is less warm, and the highest neutral-white setting can be useful when a more neutral appearance of objects is wanted. CRI 90 indicates high colour rendering, helping interior materials and textiles retain a more accurate appearance. Colour-temperature selection and brightness adjustment are distinct functions.
The power button's 1st press selects continuous light, the 2nd press activates PIR motion-sensor mode, and the 3rd press switches the lamp off. In sensor mode, light switches on when movement is detected. A separate touch control changes colour temperature; holding this control provides continuous brightness adjustment from 10–100%. Repeat a long touch to adjust the brightness again.
The memory function retains the last colour-temperature and brightness settings, helping restore the preferred light without repeated adjustment. The exact automatic switch-off delay and twilight threshold are not specified in the manufacturer's instructions.
The PIR detector-lens documentation included in the instructions shows a 120° detection field and a detection map extending up to 5 m. These are detector-component test data, not a guarantee of the finished lamp's range in every setting. Stated test conditions are 23 ± 2 °C and 55 ± 5% relative humidity; actual detection depends on positioning, movement direction and ambient temperature.
