Product Description
Lucide VELAS is a set of three decorative table lights that creates a candle-like atmosphere without an open flame. Polished smoke-grey glass cylinders surround small flame-shaped LED elements, while grey ABS bases conceal the battery compartments. The different heights form a composition on a dining table, console or shelf; the lights can also be placed separately.
Each light contains one integrated LED source rated at 0.2 W with a declared output of 4 lm. The set therefore has source ratings of 3 × 0.2 W and 3 × 4 lm. The fixed 2700 K tone is warm white. This modest light output creates a decorative accent rather than lighting a work surface or an entire room.
Each light has its own switch on the body and can operate independently. The lights are not dimmable and have no motion or twilight sensor; height and light direction are fixed.
The manufacturer-declared LED lifetime is 50 000 h, with a switching life of 5000 switching cycles. CRI 55 describes colour rendering; this decorative light is not intended for accurate colour assessment.
Each light requires 3 replaceable AAA alkaline batteries, 1.5 V each, making 9 batteries for the complete set. Batteries are not included. The battery cover opens underneath the base; this model is not rechargeable and has no power lead. The manufacturer’s battery reference data are 1200 mAh and a mass of 78 g; actual runtime depends on the batteries purchased. The manufacturer states operation for up to 200 h.
All three glass cylinders are Ø8 cm, with heights of 10 cm, 12.5 cm and 15 cm. The largest light measures 8 × 8 × 15 cm; the manufacturer’s reference size for the base assembly is 8 × 8 × 8 cm. Declared net weight for the set is 0.75 kg. Place the glass bodies on a stable surface. IP20 is for dry interiors, with no protection against water. Electrical class III applies to the low-voltage luminaire.
The store warranty is 2 years. The declared LED lifetime is not the warranty period.
