Product Description
Lucide MARNIK is a Premium collection pendant with a particularly slim horizontal cylindrical body. Matt powder-coated black aluminium and gold-coloured accents create a clean line above a long dining table or kitchen island. The slender profile keeps the view across the table open, while diffuse light complements a calm, modern interior.
One integrated dimmable LED source is rated at 22 W and provides up to 750 lm. A 110° beam spreads the light, while CRI 90 colour rendering helps preserve the natural appearance of nearby objects and materials. The light direction is fixed; the body is not designed to rotate or tilt. Watts describe power consumption, while lumens describe emitted light output, so compare lumens when assessing brightness.
A hand-wave sensor operates the lamp without direct contact and adjusts brightness. It also selects the three CCT settings of 2700 K, 3300 K or 4000 K, from warm evening light to a more neutral tone. The manufacturer prohibits connection through a wall switch; this model must be operated using the controls on the fitting itself. An external wall dimmer is not its intended control method.
Maximum overall dimensions are 152.1 × 2.5 × 160 cm. The suspension height is adjustable from 20 to 160 cm before installation. The aluminium light body itself measures 152.1 × 2.5 × 2.5 cm, with a 2.5 cm diameter. It has a black aluminium ceiling canopy and a 150 cm black PVC cable. These dimensions help coordinate its position with the ceiling and table below.
MARNIK is intended for dry indoor spaces with an IP20 rating. Lucide specifies electrical protection class II and a 220–240 V, 50 Hz supply. The package contains one fitting, the integrated LED source, driver and installation materials; no separate bulb is needed. Class II means double or reinforced electrical insulation.
The source has energy efficiency class G, a specified service life of 50,000 hours and 18,000 switching cycles. These manufacturer figures describe the light source; the fitting has a 5-year warranty. The A–G scale compares light-source energy efficiency. Hours describe expected operating duration; cycles describe the number of on/off operations.
