IS 2140 ECO motion detector, black, 140°, 14 m, IP54 (Steinel) is a motion detector for automatic lighting control. It switches the connected lighting only when required, improving convenience and reducing unnecessary energy consumption.

Design and functionality

Adjustable sensor parameters allow the operation to be adapted to the mounting position, ambient light level and required detection area. The housing is designed for reliable everyday operation in accordance with the stated IP rating.

Recommended applications

Suitable for entrances, corridors, stairways, yards, garages and other areas where lighting should be activated automatically.

Installation and use

Install with a clear view of the monitored area and follow the manufacturer's recommended mounting height. Disconnect the power before wiring, then adjust the detection direction, time setting and twilight threshold after installation.

Clean the housing and visible surfaces with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth, without abrasive or aggressive cleaning products. Disconnect the power before cleaning or maintenance and check that the fixings and connections are not damaged.
