Product Description

STEINEL PD-8 ECO COM1 is a professional in-ceiling PIR presence/motion detector for demand-controlled lighting in offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, corridors and ancillary zones. It offers full 360° coverage with reliable detection even for small movements at desks. Settings are straightforward on the device; the supplied shrouds let you tailor the detection field precisely to the room layout.

Sensor & control: PIR, 360° coverage; typical reach Ø8 m (motion, tangential) / Ø4.5 m (radial); presence Ø6 m. Adjustable time 5 s – 60 min and twilight 2 – 1000 lx. Key input for manual switching / test.
Electrical interface: COM1 relay output for switching luminaires (up to 2000 W resistive; for LED loads >8 W typical up to 500 W). Supply 220–240 V / 50–60 Hz.
Networking: master/master parallel connection up to 10 sensors for larger rooms and long corridors.
Installation: flush-mount ceiling design with spring clips; recommended mounting height ~2.8 m (max ~4.0 m). Cut-out Ø67 mm, installation depth 69 mm, visible bezel Ø109 mm.
