Product Description
Optonica 1617 is a small G4 LED bulb for decorative and furniture luminaires with a suitable low-voltage supply. It is an option for replacing an existing bulb while keeping the fitting and obtaining warm light with 2 W power consumption.
Warm light for compact fittings
The 2800 K colour temperature produces warm white light for living rooms, bedrooms or decorative lighting around shelving. Its 170 lm luminous flux suits a small illuminated area or a fitting that uses several bulbs. Compare the lumen ratings of the original and replacement bulbs to select the brightness you want.
The bulb's 360° light distribution allows light to spread in different directions around the capsule; the fitting's shade or reflector also determines the final lighting pattern. A colour rendering index of Ra ≥80 suits everyday lighting, while the warm tone complements rooms used for relaxing.
Check the power supply before replacement
This model requires a G4 socket and a 12 V DC supply. The existing power supply must support LED lamps and the intended load. A G4 socket alone does not confirm power-supply compatibility, and the bulb must never be connected directly to 230 V mains. This model is non-dimmable.
The compact capsule measures approximately Ø12 × 37 mm. Check these dimensions against the space inside the fitting, particularly where a small glass cover or decorative cap encloses the bulb. The bulb has an IP20 rating; any protection against moisture must be provided by a fitting appropriate to the installation conditions.
