Product Description
Optonica 5592 is a slim LED light with a built-in switch for fitting beneath kitchen wall cabinets, alongside a shelf or above a small work area. It adds light where furniture or the person working blocks the main ceiling lighting. Its compact white housing is easy to coordinate with light-coloured furniture.
Neutral light for everyday tasks
The 4000 K neutral white light suits worktops and shelves where a distinctly warm tone is not required. An integrated 6.5 W LED module provides 600 lm, while the 120° beam spreads the light over a broad area. Positioned close to a work surface, the fitting provides useful supplementary lighting for preparing food, finding items in a cupboard or carrying out small everyday tasks.
A built-in on/off switch lets you operate the light directly at the fitting. This is convenient when the area needs lighting only while it is being used. When choosing a mounting position, keep the switch within easy reach. This model has a fixed 4000 K light colour and is non-dimmable.
Compact dimensions and installation
The light is approximately 59 cm long, with a housing approximately 2 × 3 cm in cross-section, making it suitable for fitting beneath a shallow shelf. Before fitting it into a recess, check the actual overall dimensions and allow space for the connection cable.
Two mounting clips and a 15 cm connection cable are included. The fitting operates on a 220–240 V mains supply. Its IP20 rating suits dry indoor locations, so beneath kitchen cabinets it should be positioned away from direct water splashes. The LED light source is already integrated into the housing.
