Product Description
STEINEL XLED ONE XL S in anthracite is an outdoor LED floodlight for a courtyard, driveway, garage or the area around a home. Its built-in motion sensor switches the light on when needed, while the twilight setting limits operation according to ambient brightness. Mount it on a wall or ceiling and aim the adjustable panel at the area you want to illuminate.
4200 lm of warm white light with adjustable direction
The integrated STEINEL LED system delivers 4200 lm at 3000 K warm white. Total luminaire input at full output is 42.6 W, with an efficacy of 99 lm/W. Its broad light distribution illuminates the surroundings; the actual lit area depends on mounting height, aiming and distance.
The LED panel tilts 180° vertically to direct the light towards a path, courtyard or another selected area. CRI 80 describes colour rendering, while SDCM 3 describes colour consistency. This model has no brightness adjustment or dimmed basic-light function.
180° PIR sensor with up to 12 m reach
The passive infrared (PIR) sensor detects the heat radiated by moving people or animals. Its 180° detection zone reaches up to 12 m across the zone or up to 3 m on direct approach. For reliable detection, position it across the usual direction of travel. The optimum mounting height is 2 m and the maximum is 3 m.
The sensor direction is adjustable. Supplied masking stickers screen out unwanted segments, for example to reduce triggering by passing vehicles. Keep its line of sight unobstructed: PIR detection does not operate through walls or glass. Temperature, direction of movement and installation affect the practical detection range.
Time and twilight controls on the fitting
Two controls set an ON time from 5 seconds to 35 minutes and a twilight threshold of 2–1000 lx. Each newly detected movement restarts the timer. A lower lux setting restricts activation to darker conditions; daylight mode can be used for testing. The manual specifies 0.50 W sensor standby consumption with the light off; this is separate from full-output luminaire power. Settings require no app or phone. This version has no Bluetooth or interconnection control between lights.
Aluminium housing, glass cover and IP44 protection
The aluminium housing and transparent glass cover are intended for outdoor use in the mounting position specified by STEINEL. IP44 means protection against splashing water and solid foreign objects larger than 1 mm; IK03 identifies the tested impact-resistance level. The operating temperature range is −20 to +40°C.
Supply: 220–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz. Electrical Class I requires protective earth (PE). Dimensions: 222 × 259 × 215 mm (depth × width × height). The supplied connection cable is 1 m long. Manufacturer net weight: 1396 g. Follow the manual diagrams for wall or ceiling installation and have the mains connection made by a qualified installer.
LEDs are included — no separate bulb is needed
The integrated STEINEL LED system is already fitted. The LED light source and control gear are not replaceable. STEINEL specifies LED life of up to 50,000 hours and a separate L70B50 value above 36,000 hours at 25°C. This describes lumen maintenance under defined test conditions, rather than guaranteeing the same operating life in every installation. Passive cooling carries heat away from the LEDs without a fan.
The luminaire contains an energy-class E light source. Its manufacturer energy label states 43 kWh/1000 h, EPREL 770938. These figures apply to the contained light source; the 42.6 W figure above describes the complete luminaire input.
Package contents and care
Included: luminaire with LED system, mounting accessories and instructions; the sensor version also includes detection masking stickers. Clean with a damp cloth without detergents. Note on sensor settings
The current STEINEL page for article 065263 specifies 5 s–35 min and 2–1000 lx. The shared manual retains earlier 8 s–35 min and 2–2000 lx values. This card follows the current article-specific data; when adjusting the delivered fitting, follow its control markings and supplied instructions.
