Product Description

STEINEL PD-8 ECO COM1 — surface (black, IP54) is a professional ceiling-mount PIR presence/motion detector for demand-controlled lighting. It provides full 360° coverage with presence Ø6 m and motion reach up to Ø8 m (tangential) / Ø4.5 m (radial). TEACH mode sets the real twilight threshold (2–1000 lx); time delay 5 s–60 min. Commission via on-body potentiometers or with RC5/RC8 and Smart Remote. Robust COM1 relay switches up to 2000 W resistive (typ. 500 W LED >8 W; 176 µF). Networking: master/master parallel up to 10 sensors. IP54, ambient −20…+50 °C.

Installation: surface-mount ceiling design with magnetic holder for quick fitting; recommended height ~2.8 m (range 2–4 m; max 4.0 m). Dimensions Ø129 × 65 mm; colour black.
