Product Description
STEINEL XSolar LH-N in stainless steel is a solar house-number light with an illuminated panel and a supplied sheet of self-adhesive characters. Its built-in photo-cell switches the light on at dusk and off at dawn. It has no motion sensor: the house number does not need someone to walk past before it lights up.
An illuminated address without a mains cable
Energy from the integrated monocrystalline solar panel is stored in a rechargeable battery. There is no need for a 230 V supply or a new cable through the façade. Mount it at an entrance, gate or house wall where it receives ample direct sunlight. The panel is built into the housing and cannot be aimed separately or positioned remotely on a cable.
4000 K light for a legible house number
Four integrated LEDs illuminate the opal panel in 4000 K neutral white. The current manufacturer datasheet gives 0.03 W for the complete product. This is a low-output address light; use a separate fitting for lighting a path or a larger entrance area. The manufacturer does not publish a luminous-flux figure for this model.
Automatic switching at dusk
The selector has OFF and ON positions. It is factory-set to OFF. With ON selected, the light switches on below approximately 2 lx and off again in daylight. The threshold is fixed; there is no ON-time setting in minutes. Electronics adapt brightness to the battery charge level to use the stored energy efficiently.
Avoid direct light from street lamps or nearby luminaires shining onto the photo-cell. A test mode runs during the first minute after activation; its very low LED output may not be visible in daylight. Bluetooth and app control are not provided.
Self-adhesive numbers and wall mounting parts included
A sheet of self-adhesive house-number digits and letters is included. Apply your combination to the illuminated panel using the transfer method shown in the instructions. The 23a shown in photographs is an example, not the only number available.
The housing is stainless steel, with an opal plastic illuminated panel. Dimensions are 50 × 242 × 227 mm (depth × width × height). The wall mount, 3 screws and 3 wall plugs are included; select fixings appropriate to your wall material. Print the downloadable A3 drilling template at actual 100% scale.
Battery, charging and winter operation
A 2500 mAh lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO₄) is included according to the current manufacturer product information. The solar panel charges it automatically. Charging takes substantially longer in winter, prolonged overcast weather or shade. Available light depends on sunshine, stored charge and the operating mode.
The current manufacturer feature graphic states up to 30 days of reserve. This is a manufacturer maximum claim, not a guaranteed lighting duration at every site or in winter weather.
If stored energy is insufficient, recharge through micro USB: 5 V, 1 A maximum. The manual specifies up to 6 hours for adapter charging. A micro USB charger and charging cable are not included. Charge only in a dry room because the open socket is not protected against water. A flashing red LED indicates charging; a steady red LED indicates full charge. Battery replacement is for the manufacturer or a qualified electrician, using the correct replacement for this exact version.
Protection, care and package contents
IP44 provides protection against splashing water and solid objects larger than 1 mm. Class III electrical protection refers to its safety extra-low-voltage battery supply. Impact resistance is IK03 and the specified operating temperature is −20…+40 °C. Keep the solar panel clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Switch off and recharge periodically during prolonged storage to prevent deep discharge.
Included: house-number light with LED system, solar panel and rechargeable battery, self-adhesive number sheet, wall mount, 3 screws, 3 wall plugs and instructions. Net weight: 694 g. The integrated LED source is not replaceable. The manufacturer specifies a 50 000-hour LED life and a 3-year warranty subject to its terms.
