AC/DC power supply, 300W, 12V DC, 25A, fanless (Optonica 6239)

A compact fanless AC/DC power supply that converts a 198–242V AC mains input into a constant 12V DC output. It can supply up to 25A and 300W, making it suitable for compatible 12V DC loads with a known current demand.

The power supply is not limited to LED strips. It can also be used with other 12V constant-voltage equipment, provided that the device voltage, polarity, continuous load and start-up current match the power-supply rating. Typical applications include LED lighting, illuminated signs, display equipment and other low-voltage installations.

A pin switch on the unit selects a 100%, 80%, 60% or 40% output-power limit. This setting limits the available power; it does not change the 12V output voltage and is not a lighting dimmer. The aluminium housing dissipates heat without a fan, while quick-connect terminals simplify input and output wiring.

Application and installation

Suitable for compatible 12V constant-voltage loads such as LED lighting, illuminated signs, displays and other low-voltage equipment. Add the continuous consumption of all connected devices, consider their start-up current and retain a safe operating reserve. Set the required power limit before energising the unit and install where free air can circulate.

The package contains the AC/DC power supply; application-specific cables and protection devices are selected separately. The 100/80/60/40% pin selector limits available power but the output remains 12V DC. IP20 equipment is for protected dry indoor technical spaces. Observe polarity and isolate the mains before connection or servicing.
