AC/DC power supply, 200W, 24V DC, 8.3A, fanless (Optonica 6248)

A fanless AC/DC power supply that converts a 198–242V AC mains input into a constant 24V DC output. It provides up to 8.3A and 200W for compatible 24V constant-voltage equipment.

In addition to 24V LED strips and luminaires, the unit can power other suitable 24V DC devices. Compatibility must be checked by output voltage and polarity as well as continuous load and start-up current. The aluminium housing provides passive heat dissipation without a cooling fan.

A pin switch on the power supply selects a 100%, 80%, 60% or 40% output-power limit. This setting does not convert the output to another voltage and is not a dimmer: the output remains 24V DC while the available maximum power is limited. Quick-connect terminals simplify installation.

Application and installation

For compatible 24V constant-voltage equipment such as LED strips, luminaires, signs, display systems and other low-voltage loads. Confirm that every connected device is rated for 24V DC, observe polarity, include start-up current in the load calculation and retain operating reserve. Set the pin selector before energising the unit.

The package contains the AC/DC power supply. Cables and external protection are selected for the installation. The 100/80/60/40% selector limits available output power while voltage remains 24V DC. The IP20 unit must be mounted in a ventilated protected indoor location, and mains power must be isolated during electrical work.
