GWEN — square adjustable recessed fitting
Kanlux GWEN CT-DTL50-B (18530) is a compact ceiling fitting for one replaceable MR16 lamp, finished in black anodised aluminium. Its inner ring tilts by 30° on one axis to direct light towards a display, shelf or selected area.
Dimensions and ceiling cut-out
Overall dimensions: 82 × 82 × 29 mm. Required ceiling opening: Ø70–75 mm. The external 82 mm dimension is not the cut-out diameter. The 29 mm body height is not the full installation clearance: allow room for the lamp, holder and wiring above the ceiling.
Lamp and power supply
The manufacturer specifies Gx5.3, 12 V AC/DC, maximum 10 W. The lamp is not included. Light colour, output and beam angle depend on the selected lamp. Use suitable 12 V control gear; do not connect the Gx5.3 assembly directly to 230 V. GU10 is a different holder, not another name for Gx5.3; confirm any alternative holder configuration before ordering.
Use and installation
Aluminium-alloy housing, IP20 for dry indoor locations. Do not cover with thermal insulation. Disconnect the power before changing the lamp. Dimming requires a compatible lamp, power supply and control.

12 V lamp and power supply
The Gx5.3 holder takes a Ø50 mm MR16 lamp. One option is Optonica 1763 — MR16/GU5.3, 5 W, 12 V DC (Ø50 × 54 mm, 2700 K, 400 lm). This lamp requires 12 V DC; never connect it directly to 230 V.
A supply option is Optonica 6110 — 12 V DC, 30 W, 2.5 A. Select this combination for ordinary on/off operation, not dimming. Keep total lamp power below the 30 W supply rating with a suitable reserve. Allow separate space for the lamp, wiring and power supply and follow their installation and cooling instructions. Lamp and power supply are purchased separately.
