Product Description
Lucide TAYLOR is an outdoor wall spotlight with one cylindrical head on a vertical rectangular base. Its aluminium body and mounting plate have a matt, powder-coated white finish. The motion sensor is integrated into the base for a restrained, cohesive appearance. Use it near an entrance, along a façade or in another area beside a building where light is wanted as someone approaches.
The head is rotatable and tiltable, with manufacturer-stated 360° rotation. This allows the light direction to be adjusted towards an entrance, path or wall surface. Beam width depends on the bulb chosen, while mechanical rotation determines the head position.
The fitting has 1 × GU10 (MR16) socket, with a permitted bulb rating of up to 50 W per socket. Bulbs are not included. The permitted maximum is not the actual consumption, which is determined by the bulb installed. Suitable GU10 LED bulbs may be used. The manufacturer's recommended source is 49006/05/30, which must be purchased separately.
Because the sources are selected separately, the fitting has no fixed luminous flux, colour temperature or CRI. The bulbs determine the warmth or neutrality of the light, its output, beam angle, service life and source energy-efficiency class. This sensor model is non-dimmable; motion-triggered switching is not brightness adjustment.
The integrated PIR motion sensor responds to changes caused by a moving heat-emitting object. The manufacturer specifies a detection distance of 0–8 m and a detection angle of 100°. These help plan a position where an approaching person crosses the sensor's field; actual operation also depends on mounting, movement direction and surrounding conditions. Adjusting a spotlight head does not adjust the sensor's detection angle.
The twilight threshold is adjustable from 10–2000 lx, allowing the ambient-light level at which motion triggers illumination to be selected. Lux measures ambient illuminance rather than a bulb's luminous flux. The light-on duration can be set to 5–480 s, or up to 8 min. These settings adapt the light to a brief passage or an area where illumination is needed for longer.
The fitting connects to a 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply. A wall switch can enable or disconnect power; leave power connected for automatic motion detection. A separate permanent-on override mode is not specified. Electrical protection class I requires a protective-earth connection. There is no loose cable with a mains plug, and the fitting is wall-mounted as described in the instructions.
The drawing shows a width of 10 cm, a height of 15 cm and a projection from the wall of 15.3 cm. The aluminium base measures 10 × 15 × 4 cm. Each head measures Ø 5.7 × 11 cm, with its position changing as it is tilted. Net weight is 0.81 kg. Installation materials are included, but fixings must suit the wall material and load.
The IP54 enclosure suits the manufacturer's specified outdoor use: it limits dust ingress and protects against splashing water. This does not establish suitability for immersion or cleaning with a strong water jet. The front head rings unscrew for bulb replacement; after installation or maintenance, close all components as instructed. The fixture has a 2-year warranty.
