Product Description
Lucide GALACTICA arranges overlapping oval light outlines in a taupe, grey-brown finish. Its metal base and aluminium light profiles have a matte powder coating, creating an open geometric feature on the ceiling. The elongated form can complement a living room or bedroom layout without taking up much vertical space.
An integrated LED light source is included, rated at 60 W with a stated source output of 3100 lm. White-light selection covers 2700 K, 3300 K and 4000 K, from warm to a more neutral tone; colour temperature and brightness are controlled separately. The manual lists a 310–3100 lm range for the source; the actual dimming result also depends on the control and installation.
CRI 80 indicates colour rendering suitable for everyday lighting, helping reveal the colours of furniture and other objects. The specified beam angle is 120°; the light spreads broadly and there is no separately aimable head. The expected LED source life is 20 000 h, with energy efficiency class G. The manufacturer also specifies 20 000 switching cycles.
An RF remote control is included for on/off, brightness and colour-temperature adjustment, night-light mode and a 30 min switch-off delay. The remote operates in the 2426–2476 MHz band with a stated 6 dBm transmission level. It requires 2 × AAA 1.5 V batteries, not included. The luminaire has no motion sensor.
Overall size is 101 × 43 × 8.5 cm. The middle oval measures 71 × 21 cm and the crosswise oval 43 × 21 cm, with a light-profile thickness of 1.5 cm. The round ceiling fitting is Ø12 cm and net weight 1.45 kg. Height and light direction are fixed; position it with the full outline dimensions in mind.
Designed for a 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply. IP20 is for dry indoor use and provides no water protection. Electrical class II means double insulation. The luminaire is wired to the fixed installation and has no cord with a plug. The LED source and installation materials are included. The store warranty is 3 years.
