Product Description
Lucide ORTOLAN from the Essential collection is a metal floor lamp with a matt powder-coated taupe finish. An oval base and flat upper head create a coordinated outline, while a small cylindrical reading spotlight sits on the stem. This arrangement combines ambient lighting with local light beside an armchair, sofa or reading position.
The lamp has three separate integrated LED sources, all included. The uplight is rated at 12 W, with a flux range of 75–750 lm. The second source in the upper head points downwards; it is rated at 12 W, with a range of 50–500 lm. The side reading source is rated at 3 W, with 13–130 lm output. The powers sum to 27 W, and the maximum declared source fluxes sum to 1380 lm; this is not a separately measured whole-luminaire output.
The main uplight and downlight each offer 2700 K, 3300 K or 4000 K settings and a 120° beam angle. Choose a warmer evening light or a more neutral everyday setting. The reading spotlight has fixed warm-white 3000 K light and a narrower 90° beam angle. Its colour temperature does not change with the upper head’s setting.
Three control buttons on the stem separately operate the uplight, downlight and reading light. All sources can be dimmed, while touch colour-temperature selection applies only to the two main sources. This allows different types of light to be combined without switching on an unwanted source. The adjustable light elements can be rotated and tilted; the manufacturer lists a 360° rotation capability for this model. Height is fixed, there is no motion sensor and no external wall dimmer is needed.
All sources provide CRI 90, helping render interior objects and textile colours more accurately. Each has a declared life of 30,000 h, 30,000 switching cycles and energy-efficiency class G. The LEDs are integrated rather than ordinary replaceable bulbs. Service life is not the warranty period.
Overall dimensions are 30 × 20 × 177 cm. The oval upper head measures 30 × 20 × 2 cm, the side spotlight is Ø 3.2 × 12 cm, and the oval metal base measures 30 × 20 × 0.5 cm. Net weight is 3.25 kg. When positioning the lamp beside furniture, leave room to aim the spotlight and access its controls.
The mains connection is rated for 220–240 V, 50 Hz; the power supply and assembly materials are included. The black PVC lead with plug is 180 cm long. Assemble the stem sections and secure them to the base as shown in the instructions, routing the cable so it cannot be pinched and does not obstruct walking paths.
The lamp is intended for dry indoor use. IP20 protects against access to hazardous parts and larger solid objects, but provides no water protection. Electrical protection class II indicates double or reinforced insulation. The fixture has a 3-year warranty.
