Product Description
THULINE is a ceiling light with a light wood-toned bamboo shade, a black metal ceiling plate and a white cylindrical inner diffuser. Bamboo lines form an open rounded volume while the inner shade diffuses light. Its natural texture complements wooden furniture and neutral textiles in a dining room, bedroom or living area. The position close to the ceiling retains a distinctive shade shape without a long suspension.
Overall dimensions are 45 × 45 × 31 cm. The overall diameter is 45 cm. The metal ceiling mounting plate measures 10 × 10 × 2.5 cm. The round ceiling plate has a diameter of 10 cm. Net weight is 0.65 kg. Height is fixed. Allow space for the complete fitting, not just the base. The shade has upper and lower diameters of 45 cm. The inner diffuser has upper and lower diameters of 15 cm. The bamboo’s FSC 100% label indicates that this material comes from responsibly managed FSC-certified forests. Full shade dimensions are 45 × 45 × 25 cm. The white linen inner diffuser measures 15 × 15 × 24 cm.
The fitting requires 1 E27 bulb with a maximum permitted power of 5 W. The bulb is not included. This power is a selection limit, not fixed consumption. Actual consumption depends on the chosen bulb; lumens help compare brightness, while kelvins describe the light’s colour tone. For white light, a lower kelvin value means a warmer tone. CRI helps assess how natural object colours will look under the light. Colour rendering, energy efficiency and lifespan also depend on the separately purchased source. A suitably sized LED bulb can be used; the manufacturer recommends model 49035/20/62.
Dimming requires a dimmable bulb and a compatible external dimmer. The dimmer and bulb are not included. A wall switch provides ordinary on/off operation. Check compatibility between the selected bulb and dimmer; dimming changes brightness, while the light’s colour tone depends on the bulb chosen. The light direction is fixed, and there is no motion sensor. No external plug-in cable is supplied; the fitting connects to prepared ceiling wiring.
The lamp is designed for a 230 V mains supply, with a specified range of 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz. IP20 is intended for dry indoor use and does not provide water protection. Electrical protection class II denotes double or reinforced insulation.
The package includes 1 fitting and installation accessories. The fitting carries a 2-year warranty.
