Product Description
Lucide BASIC is a compact black solar outdoor wall light with a rectangular PVC body and a matt finish. The built-in solar panel allows positioning beside a garden building, entrance or terrace without a mains cable. Light is directed downwards to illuminate the nearby area. Neither the body height nor the light direction is mechanically adjustable.
One integrated 3 W LED source provides 380 lm of 2700 K warm white light. The beam angle is 120°, with CRI 80 colour rendering. No separate bulb is needed, and the light colour is fixed. Lucide lists the model as non-dimmable: sensor-controlled brightness states do not establish an ordinary user-operated dimmer. Watts describe power consumption, while lumens describe emitted light output, so compare lumens when assessing brightness. CRI describes how naturally object colours appear under the light.
A PIR motion sensor and day/night sensor provide automatic operation. Lucide specifies detection up to 3 m, a 120° sensing angle and a 25–30 second timer interval. An on/off switch is located on the lamp. Choose a position that covers the approach area while giving the solar panel access to adequate daylight.
The panel charges one built-in, non-replaceable lithium-ion battery rated at 2000 mAh and 3.7 V. The manufacturer’s light-source specification states 4 V, a different parameter from the battery cell voltage. The fitting is rated electrical protection class III and runs on solar energy without a mains connection or supply cable. Class III identifies a fitting operated at safety extra-low voltage.
The listed charging time is approximately 7 hours; solar charging depends on available light. The manual specifies operation for up to 4 hours at 100% brightness or up to 20 hours at 10% brightness. These figures apply to the stated brightness levels, and actual performance depends on charging conditions and sensor activation frequency.
Body dimensions are 11.6 × 19 × 3.6 cm; the separate PVC wall-mounting section measures 2 × 11.6 × 3.6 cm. Net fixture weight is 0.25 kg.
