Optonica 6247 is a 24 V DC, 150 W LED power supply for projects with a higher combined LED strip load. It can form part of a lighting system for several shelves or recesses where the selected light sources require 24 V DC. Calculate the total demand from all sections that will operate at the same time.

Quick wire connections simplify the connection process, while the black aluminium housing provides a consistent finish for the technical part of the installation. Its 211 mm length and 27.2 mm height should be considered when planning the mounting space. Allow additional room for cable exits, access to the connections and ventilation instead of choosing a compartment that only matches the outside dimensions.

A load calculation is a useful starting point for selecting the required capacity. For example, LED sections with a combined length of 8 m and a consumption of 12 W/m have a total nominal load of 96 W. This is a power-budget example, not an instruction to power one continuous 8 m strip from one end. Plan individual sections and feed points according to the strip's installation requirements.

The IP20 construction is intended for dry indoor environments. Locate the power supply in a technical area that is protected from moisture and remains accessible for maintenance. The separately selected strip and profile determine the visible lighting line, its light colour and how it fits into the room.

The supply delivers 24 V DC at 6.25 A from a 198–242 V AC input. A 150 W rating does not make the LEDs brighter by itself: it describes the power available for a correctly matched load. Any controller added to the system must have suitable voltage and current ratings for the same installation.
