Product Description
STEINEL Spot Garden SC is an anthracite LED garden spotlight with a ground spike, with PIR sensor and Bluetooth. It suits flower beds, shrubs, decorative planting and other garden features. The head tilts through 90° to direct light where it is needed.
Warm-white light and a replaceable bulb
One 6.7 W GU10 LED bulb is included. With this bulb, the complete fitting delivers 512 lm of 3000 K warm-white light. Total operating power is 7.9 W. The manufacturer also lists 620 lm for the bulb itself; the complete fitting delivers 512 lm after optical losses.
The bulb is user-replaceable, so reaching the end of its life does not require replacing the entire fitting. Use a GU10 LED bulb rated up to 9 W; halogen bulbs are not suitable. The fitting is not dimmable. The supplied bulb has energy efficiency class F and an energy-label consumption of 7 kWh/1000 h.
PIR detection and Bluetooth control
A 90° passive infrared sensor switches the light on when it detects movement. Maximum reach is 10 m for movement across the detection zone and approximately 2 m when approaching the sensor directly. Keep plants and other obstructions out of the sensor's line of sight; positioning it across the walking direction provides more reliable detection.
The STEINEL Connect app sets the 5-second to 60-minute delay after the last movement and a 2–2000 lx ambient-light threshold. Bluetooth allows compatible SC lights to be grouped, on/off times to be scheduled and automatic or manual control to be selected. A 4-hour continuous-light mode is also available. There is no reduced basic-light level or brightness adjustment.
Each fitting still requires mains power; the wireless link carries control signals. After a power interruption, reconnect the light through the app to synchronise its clock for scheduled operation. Standby consumption is 0.42 W.
Installation and supplied items
The aluminium housing is designed for outdoor use. IP44 denotes protection against water splashes, while IK03 is the impact-resistance rating. A 2.5 m cable with mains plug connects to an outdoor IP44 socket. The fitting operates on 220–240 V mains power and is electrical class I, requiring a protective earth connection.
The package contains the light with cable, a ground spike, two screws and a GU10 LED bulb. Push the spike into the soil. Total height including the spike is 369 mm; the visible height depends on insertion depth. The manufacturer's drawing gives 118 × 69 × 369 mm (depth × width × height).
The stated LED lifetime exceeds 20,000 hours at L70B50 and 25 °C. The manufacturer provides a 3-year warranty subject to its terms. Keep the cover seal clean and undamaged when changing the bulb. Detailed settings and installation steps are available in the manual below.
