Product Description
SENSOR is a compact motion sensor designed for installation inside a compatible light fitting. It adds automatic switching when movement is detected, making it useful where lighting is regularly needed for short visits. A hallway or utility area may be a suitable application, provided that the chosen luminaire and its position allow the sensor to operate correctly.
The sensor has a 360° detection angle, while its actual operation also depends on the installation position and the construction of the light fitting. It should therefore be selected as a component of the lighting assembly, with compatibility checked before fitting. Automatic switching can make entering a space more convenient when your hands are full and you would otherwise need to find a wall switch.
The white 56 × 40 × 22 mm housing is compact, but the installation needs room for mounting tabs and electrical connections as well. These dimensions describe the body without its tabs. Check the available space and fixing arrangement inside the luminaire before ordering, and allow the wiring to sit correctly when the fitting is closed. Physical clearance is only one part of choosing a suitable installation.
The model operates at 230 V. Rendl lists a maximum load of 1200 W, which must not automatically be treated as its permitted LED driver load. For LED lighting, check the specific load compatibility and connection requirements, including installations where several light sources will be controlled together.
G12755 suits projects where automatic control is to be integrated into the chosen light fitting. Review the connection instructions before installation and have mains electrical work carried out by a qualified installer.
