Product Description
STEINEL RS PRO A20 SC is a round wall and ceiling light in white, designed for automatically controlled lighting in shared building areas. Suitable locations include corridors, stairwells, ancillary rooms and washrooms, as well as protected outdoor spaces such as covered walkways. An aluminium housing with an opal polycarbonate cover combines a simple appearance with IP54 protection and IK10 impact resistance.
Warm white light across a broad diffuser
The integrated 12.4 W LED system produces 1427 lm at 3000 K. This article has a fixed colour temperature and electronically adjustable brightness. Measuring 262 mm in diameter and 69 mm high, the fitting spreads light across its round opal front. Surface mounting on either a wall or a ceiling allows the same design to be used along a corridor or on staircase landings.
Motion detection concealed behind the cover
The built-in 360° high-frequency sensor monitors an area with a maximum diameter of 8 m. Electronic reach adjustment lets detection be reduced to suit the room. HF technology may also detect movement through glass, wood or lightweight partitions, so positioning and sensitivity should be matched to the surroundings. The STEINEL Connect app adjusts the twilight threshold, lighting duration and brightness, including main and basic light levels from 0 to 100%.
Coordinated lighting along the route
Bluetooth Mesh links compatible luminaires into groups, while the neighbouring-group function can activate lighting in the adjacent area. Available controls include lighting scenes, a timer, adjustable fade-in and fade-out, and automatic or semi-automatic operation. Optional PB2/PB4 Bluetooth buttons provide separate wall control. Brightness is managed by the luminaire's own system; connection to a conventional external dimmer is not supported.
