Product Description
STEINEL RS PRO R30 plus SC is a round LED wall and ceiling light with a concealed motion sensor and smartphone control. Its broad opal surface and separately switchable backlight suit stairwells, corridors and entrance halls where the fitting also contributes to the appearance of the space. A 420 mm diameter and 55 mm depth provide a broad illuminated surface without the bulk of a pendant fitting.
Warm white light through an opal cover
The 23.7 W LED system delivers 2813 lm at a fixed 3000 K colour temperature. Warm white light gives entrances and shared spaces a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The opal polycarbonate cover conceals the individual LED points and creates a continuous illuminated surface. A white finish makes the fitting easy to coordinate with light-coloured walls and ceilings.
Automatic response and smartphone adjustment
A 360° high-frequency sensor sits behind the cover, leaving no projecting sensor lens on the outside. Detection coverage adjusts electronically to approximately 1–10 m in diameter, and the supplied shrouds restrict detection directions. HF sensing can respond through glass and lightweight partitions, so the detection area should be matched to the room. Time, twilight threshold and brightness are set using the STEINEL Connect app.
Orientation lighting and a wall-lighting accent
The plus version’s backlight creates a glow behind the fitting and emphasises its circular shape. It can be switched on or off separately. Adjustable basic lighting maintains a selected lower level between movements; when someone is detected, the fitting changes to the chosen main-light level. The fade rate on switching on and off can be adjusted for a gradual change in brightness.
Coordinated lighting across connected areas
Bluetooth Mesh connects lights into groups without an additional interconnection cable between fittings. The neighbouring-group function can bring the next area to its main or basic light level as a person approaches. Group settings are managed together, while each fitting’s detection reach can still be adjusted individually.
The fitting is intended for surface mounting on walls or ceilings in dry indoor areas. Both concealed and surface cable routes are supported. Emergency lighting can be added using the separately purchased 064143 module; a battery is not included as standard. Connection to a suitable central battery system is also supported. On DC power, the fitting operates at full brightness with its motion sensor deactivated.
