Product Description
STEINEL RS PRO R30 Q basic SC is a white square LED luminaire with an integrated motion sensor and Bluetooth Mesh control. Article 067878 provides 2964 lm of neutral-white light at a fixed 4000 K. It suits office corridors, changing rooms and ancillary spaces where a clear, neutral appearance supports everyday use. Use it as an individual indoor light or as part of a group that responds together as people move through the building.
The opal polycarbonate diffuser spreads light across the broad front surface, while the shallow 350 × 350 × 55 mm housing works on a wall or ceiling. This version has a rated input of 23.4 W and CRI 82 colour rendering. A consistent colour temperature helps a row of fittings read as one coordinated installation. The quantity and spacing should follow the room layout and required lighting level.
Lighting that follows how the space is used
The concealed 5.8 GHz HF sensor monitors a 360° area. Its detection diameter can be adjusted from approximately 1 to 10 m to suit a corridor or landing. High-frequency sensing can also register movement through glass or thin partitions. Check neighbouring spaces during commissioning and use the included shrouds to restrict unwanted directions, rather than assuming the room boundary will also be the sensing boundary.
The STEINEL Connect app provides group configuration while allowing the sensing reach of each light to be adjusted individually. The neighbouring-group function lets an adjoining zone respond to an activation signal with the selected main or basic light level. This is useful along a corridor or between stair landings, where several lighting areas need to work together. Bluetooth communication connects the luminaires without an additional control cable between them.
Control and version features
Main light and basic light are adjustable from 0–100%. Set the ambient-light threshold between 2 and 2000 lx, or use the Teach function. This article has a main-light time setting of 5 seconds to 60 minutes, restarted by further movement. An adjustable 1–3 second fade gives a gentler transition on and off, while basic lighting can provide orientation between periods of activity.
The basic version combines motion sensing, adjustable main light and orientation lighting in a simple square housing. Its basic light uses the main illuminated surface. It suits installations focused on automatic everyday lighting and coordinated control across several zones; the separate rear Backlight feature belongs to the plus model.

Installation and optional equipment
Surface mounting on an indoor wall or ceiling is supported up to 4 m high. The white plastic housing is rated IP40 and IK07 with class II electrical protection. Connect it to a 220–240 V supply and use its integrated control for dimming. The LED light source and control gear are not replaceable. The installation instructions require at least 3 m separation from Wi-Fi routers or access points.
For a planned emergency-lighting installation, connection to a suitable 186–250 V DC central battery system is supported; in DC operation the light runs at 100% and its sensor is disabled. Alternatively, the separately purchased 064143 emergency module provides a three-hour emergency-light option. The module is not included with the standard fitting. STEINEL specifies a five-year manufacturer warranty for this Professional-series product, subject to its warranty terms.
