Product Description
STEINEL RS PRO S10 SC PC is a round LED wall and ceiling light for automatically controlled lighting in dry indoor areas. It suits office corridors, stairwells, lobbies and ancillary rooms where lighting needs to respond to people moving through the building. A visible silver aluminium base and opal white polycarbonate cover give the fitting an unobtrusive appearance, while cooling fins help dissipate heat from the LEDs.
Warm white light in a shallow fitting
The 9.1 W LED system delivers 979 lm at 3000 K. This article has a fixed colour temperature and electronically adjustable brightness. The opal cover spreads light across its round surface. Measuring 300 mm in diameter and 71 mm high, the light mounts directly on a wall or ceiling. Its IP20 rating requires a dry installation location.
Concealed sensing with an adjustable detection area
The integrated 360° HF sensor detects movement from behind the cover, leaving the front free of a protruding sensor lens. The detection-zone diameter adjusts electronically from 1 to 8 m, while the included shrouds can limit detection in four directions. HF technology can also respond to movement through glass, doors or lightweight partitions, so sensitivity should be matched to the room layout.
App control and coordinated lighting groups
The STEINEL Connect app adjusts lighting duration, the twilight threshold, and main and basic light levels from 7 to 100%. Fade-in and fade-out can be adjusted, and basic lighting can provide orientation between movement events. Bluetooth Mesh connects compatible luminaires into groups; the neighbouring-group function brings an adjacent group to its selected light level. Automatic or semi-automatic operation and presence-detector logic are available. PB2/PB4 Bluetooth wall buttons are optional accessories.
For normal operation, the fitting uses a 220–240 V AC supply. It also supports 186–250 V DC for connection to a suitable central battery system; light output is set to 100% during DC operation. There is no built-in battery for independent emergency lighting. Brightness is managed by the luminaire's own control system; a conventional external mains dimmer is not supported.
