Product Description
STEINEL RS 200 C is an anthracite LED wall and ceiling light without its own motion sensor, with Bluetooth Mesh interconnection. The 17.1 W LED system delivers 1165 lm of 3000 K warm-white light. Its aluminium housing and opal diffuser match RS 200 SC, allowing a consistent lighting scheme in corridors and shared spaces.
How does the sensor-free C version work?
RS 200 C does not detect movement or measure twilight itself. For automatic operation, connect it to a compatible Bluetooth sensor product such as RS 200 SC. The sensor detects movement and ambient light; the C fitting follows the linked group's control commands. A motion sensor is therefore not required in every fitting.
The manufacturer's instructions specify that C-version automatic functions operate together with a Bluetooth sensor product. Time, twilight and detection settings belong to that controlling sensor. Interconnection and group settings are managed through STEINEL Connect. Bluetooth carries control signals; the light still needs a conventional 220–240 V mains connection.
Even light in a compact housing
Soft light start and an opal diffuser create comfortable illumination. In a connected group, the compatible sensor product controls main and basic lighting; do not connect an external dimmer. Ra 80 describes LED colour rendering, and the manufacturer's stated L70 lifetime is 54,000 h.
Installation and supplied items
The Ø263 × 53 mm fitting is for surface mounting on a wall or ceiling. IP54 denotes dust protection and resistance to water splashes; IK10 indicates high impact resistance. Electrical class I requires a protective-earth connection.
One RS 200 C light with its LED system and mounting accessories is supplied. A controlling sensor light is not included and must be purchased separately if one is not already installed. No separate bulb is required, and the LED is not user-replaceable. This is the sensor-free article 078775.
