Product Description
The Lucide CHANTAL flush ceiling light has an organically shaped fabric shade in cream. The textile surface adds a soft texture, with light spreading around the shade. It suits a bedroom, hallway or living space where decorative lighting needs to stay close to the ceiling.
Advantages
- Organic textile form: the cream fabric shade adds a soft texture to ceiling lighting.
- Direct ceiling mounting: the Ø42 cm fitting with a 27 cm height suits spaces where a long pendant is unnecessary.
- Replaceable light source: choose an E27 bulb for softer bedroom lighting or a brighter hallway.
Light and control
The shade houses one E27 bulb rated up to 25 W. The bulb is not included, allowing a suitable source to be selected for softer bedroom lighting or a brighter hallway. The manufacturer's suggested example is 49033/05/62. Actual energy consumption depends on the selected bulb.
The bulb's luminous flux in lumens determines how much light it provides; colour temperature in Kelvins helps select a warm or more neutral white tone. CRI describes how the colours of furnishings and textiles are rendered. The fitting has no integrated LED source with fixed values for these characteristics.
A dimmable bulb combined with a compatible external dimmer allows brightness to be reduced in the evening; the dimmer is not included. On/off control is through a wall switch. There is no automatic sensor, and the light direction is fixed.
Installation and safety
The fitting is 42 cm in diameter and 27 cm high. It mounts directly to the ceiling and has no height adjustment. Its cream metal ceiling plate is 12 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm high. The fitting's net weight is 0.55 kg.
CHANTAL operates from a 230 V supply and is intended for dry indoor use with IP20 protection. Electrical class I requires a protective earth connection. The fitting and installation materials are included; the manufacturer specifies a 2-year warranty.

Applications
The CHANTAL ceiling model suits a bedroom, hallway or living space. It offers a decorative fabric shade where the fitting needs to remain close to the ceiling.
Tip
Before installation, assess the Ø42 cm shade and its 27 cm height in the room. Select the bulb lumens for the intended use, as equal wattage does not always mean equal brightness.
