Product Description
STEINEL DL Vario Quattro S in anthracite is a ceiling sensor light for entrances, carports and indoor passages. Its dark rim coordinates with anthracite doors and metalwork, while the shallow round shape keeps the installation visually simple. The motion detector lenses are integrated into the diffuser, avoiding a separate projecting sensor.
The built-in LED system produces 1000 lm of warm white 3000 K light at 9.8 W. Movement activates the light once the selected ambient brightness threshold is reached. This arrangement is convenient when arriving with shopping bags or walking from a parked car towards the house.
Four PIR sensors cover the space around the luminaire. Their individual reach controls let the installer tailor each direction to the canopy and approach route. For example, the zone facing a narrow path can be shorter than the zone facing an open parking area. Settings are made locally on the light; this S version has no remote control or interconnection facility.
An optional 10% basic light level maintains background illumination between full-light activations. It can operate for a selected period or throughout the night. If an optional wall switch is installed in the supply, a switching sequence enables four hours of continuous illumination before automatic sensor operation resumes.
The IP54, IK07 plastic housing is suitable for indoor and outdoor ceiling mounting. Give the sensor a clear view of the approach, since obstacles limit detection. Movement during the selected stay-on period restarts the timer, and soft start brings up the light gradually. The LED source and control gear are not replaceable, and this model does not take a separate bulb.
