Product Description
STEINEL L 930 S is a compact outdoor wall light in anthracite that combines architectural accent lighting with automatic switching. Its upward and downward light highlights the wall surface and creates a vertical feature beside an entrance, along a façade or on a terrace. The aluminium housing keeps the appearance simple, with the motion sensor integrated into the front.
The built-in 9.3 W LED system produces 457 lm of warm white 3000 K light, so there is no separate bulb to choose or purchase. The lighting effect suits a welcoming entrance or a series of repeated accents around the house, while the sensor brings the light to full output when movement is detected.
Choose how the entrance responds
The 140° infrared sensor offers a choice of 5 or 12 metres of detection reach. DIP switches provide two twilight thresholds, 2 or 20 lux, and two operating times, 2 or 15 minutes. These are fixed choices, making the controls straightforward to set for the installation. Mounting the light to detect movement across the sensor gives more dependable detection than approaching it directly.
Optional 10% basic lighting keeps a gentle façade accent between detections. It can operate throughout the night or use the night economy setting. A soft light start provides a gradual transition, and a mains switch can activate four hours of continuous light for times when automatic switching would be inconvenient.
For several entrances or a longer façade, up to 10 compatible lights can be linked by cable. The IP44 housing is designed for outdoor wall mounting, with an optimum sensor mounting height of 2.2 m. This is the sensor version, article 067199.
