Optonica 7143 is a black T-connector for the programmable Optonica 7141 RGBW linear wall-washer system. It joins compatible system cables at a T-shaped connection point, for example when planning installation sections along a façade. Select it together with the correct cables and wiring arrangement for this luminaire family.

Building the system

The luminaires in this family require a 24 V DC supply and an SPI control signal. The T-connector is a wiring accessory; power-supply capacity, controller and lighting programme are selected separately. Check the terminal markings and polarity before connecting anything. A T-shaped body does not mean that power or data wiring can be split in any arbitrary arrangement.

The matching Optonica 7142 cable with female connector provides a connection lead for this system. The 7131–7136 white-light luminaires instead use their own Optonica 7137 cable. Select accessories by the exact luminaire SKU, connector type and manufacturer wiring instructions.

Protection and installation

The manufacturer specifies IP66 protection and a 2-year warranty. Every connection in an outdoor installation must be fully closed. Protect any unused opening with a suitable solution for the system, and never leave connection points with exposed contacts.

Keep the connector accessible for inspection and protect it from cable tension. The Optonica 7141 instructions allow a maximum of 8 luminaires in one electrical daisy chain; adding a T-connector does not increase this limit. Plan the total load and any additional power-feed connections before installation. Disconnect the supply before making or changing connections.
