Optonica 7142 is a black 1 m cable with a female connector for the programmable Optonica 7141 RGBW wall-washer system. It provides a connection lead between the luminaire connector and the wiring planned for the installation, using the matching connector type for this product family.

Connection and compatibility

Optonica 7141 luminaires use a 24 V DC supply and SPI control. Plan the luminaire power supply and the control-signal connection separately; the cable itself does not convert voltage or programme the lighting. Make connections according to the luminaire and controller terminal markings, observing polarity and signal direction.

Allow for the 1 m length when locating power and connection points. Measure the required cable route before ordering, including bends and a small allowance for making the connection. If the installation needs a T-shaped connection, the matching Optonica 7143 T-connector is available for this family. The 7131–7136 white-light series uses a different accessory: cable 7137.

Protection and installation

The manufacturer specifies IP66 protection for this cable. The completed installation must maintain the appropriate protection: fully close the matching connector and terminate the free wire ends inside a suitable protected enclosure. An open or incompletely mated connector does not form a protected outdoor connection.

Secure the cable without tension and protect it from sharp edges and mechanical crushing. Disconnect the system supply before wiring and check that all components are compatible. Its black finish matches the accessories in this wall-washer family. The manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty.
