Product Description
Lucide HALMSTAD is a long, slim pendant with a wooden body in a dark wood finish and a black metal ceiling plate. Its restrained silhouette suits Japandi and contemporary interiors with natural materials. The elongated shape follows the length of a dining table or kitchen island, illuminating the area beneath the fitting while keeping the composition visually light.

Light and control
The integrated LED source has a power rating of 28 W and a manufacturer-stated luminous flux of 3300 lm. Lumens help compare the amount of emitted light, while watts describe electrical power. CRI 90 indicates high colour rendering, helping food, tabletop finishes, wood and textiles retain natural-looking colours. Light is directed downwards; the specified 180° beam angle describes a broad light distribution.
A DIP switch on the fitting selects one of three white light settings: 2200 K, 3000 K or 4000 K. At 2200 K the light is especially warm for an evening atmosphere, 3000 K provides warm white light for everyday use, and 4000 K gives a neutral white tone. These are three fixed colour temperature settings that can be matched to the use of the room and its other lighting.
Brightness can be adjusted using a compatible external LED dimmer, which is not included. This allows the same fitting to provide stronger table lighting or a quieter evening atmosphere. Select the dimmer to suit the compatibility and load requirements of the LED driver. Colour selection with the DIP switch and brightness adjustment are separate functions. A wall switch is used for switching on and off; the fitting has no motion sensor.
Installation and safety
The fitting is 180 cm long and 7.5 cm wide, with an overall suspension height adjustable between 70 and 158 cm before final installation. The slender body complements elongated furniture, while sufficient clearance should be allowed above a worktop or dining surface. The ceiling plate measures 50 × 10 × 3.5 cm, and the fitting has a net weight of 2.5 kg; fixings must suit both the ceiling material and the load.
HALMSTAD is intended for a fixed connection to a 230 V mains supply using the included LED driver and the manufacturer’s installation diagram. Electrical protection class I requires a protective earth connection. IP20 is intended for dry indoor use and does not provide protection against water, so the installation position must be protected from moisture.
The manufacturer specifies an expected LED lifetime of 25,000 hours, and the light source has energy efficiency class F. The stated lifetime describes the expected operating life of the light source and is not a warranty period. The LED source and driver are included, so no separate bulb is required. The manufacturer specifies a 3-year warranty for the fitting.
Applications
HALMSTAD suits placement above a long dining table or kitchen island. Compare its length with the furniture proportions and maintain comfortable sight lines across the surface.
Tip
Before purchase, check compatibility between the LED dimmer and the fitting’s driver. Choose the CCT setting alongside the rest of the room lighting; light colour and brightness are separate settings.
